JEWELRY CARE
Every piece of Pretty Little Sparkles jewelry is crafted with care and delicacy. Please handle your piece with love and attention to maintain its beauty over time
Remove your jewelry before applying sprays, perfumes, and lotions, as well as before showering, exercising, and swimming. Exposure to these elements can accelerate tarnishing and tangling.
After each use, gently rub the surface of your jewelry with a polishing cloth to keep it looking its best.
Store your jewelry in the velvet pouch provided, a jewelry box, or a plastic bag when not in use. Keeping it away from light and oxygen helps prevent tarnishing and oxidation.
Please note that everyone's unique skin oils can react differently to certain metals and plating. While our jewelry is 100% Nickel and Lead free, gold plated, gold filled, silver plated, and rhodium jewelry will naturally turn over time with wear.
JEWELRY MATERIALS
At Pretty Little Sparkles, we prioritize top quality craftsmanship and materials. Here's a breakdown of our jewelry materials:
- Gold Filled: Consists of a layer of gold bonded onto a Sterling Silver, Rhodium, or White Brass base. Ideal for everyday wear, hypoallergenic, and can last for years with proper care.
- Sterling Silver: Made with 925 pure Sterling Silver, perfect for daily wear, hypoallergenic, and can last for years with proper care.
- Rhodium: Features a layer of Rhodium bonded onto a White Brass base. While hypoallergenic, it's best to remove Rhodium pieces for certain activities and not suitable for daily wear.
- Gold Plated: Involves a thin layer of gold bonded onto a Rhodium or Brass base. Not hypoallergenic and best suited for occasional wear, lasting 1-2 years with proper care.
- Silver Plated: Similar to gold plated, with a thin layer of silver bonded onto a Rhodium or Brass base. Not hypoallergenic and best suited for occasional wear, lasting 1-2 years with proper care.
Please note that we do not offer re-plating services.
